Lactation Exam Practice
Course Objectives:
- Participants will be able to recall their knowledge of lactation during an exam setting.
- Participants will gain confidence in their ability to recall knowledge from their previous experience.
- Participants will gain confidence by completing a multi-choice exam which includes photos.
- Participants will be able to revise their exam and pin point their areas of weakness and do further study and revision.
Course Outline: 4 ½ hours breaks not included
- This course is broken up in to one 2 ¼ hours and one 2 hour sessions. There is a 30 minute break between the two sessions.
- The room is set up as an exam room
- All books (other than French-English dictionaries for those who have requested) are removed from the room
- All participants are given an ID number and sign in for the exam
- Instructions regarding the exam are given including length of time, filling in the answer sheet, raising hand to ask a question, need to leave the room, etc.
- All participants are given two pieces of lined paper for notes
- All participants are given the exam and an answer sheet
- When the time is complete participants are instructed to stop answering questions if not finished and exams and answer sheets are collected.
- 15 minutes is left at the end to discuss how participants felt about the exam and how or what if anything they would do differently on the true exam day.
- Exam results are sent by email
